Last week was our 100th day of school. We used the number 100 in many ways including counting and bringing in 100 items to display for the school. Enjoy our collections...
During November and December, our class explored motion by first using pre-made marble ramps and then building some of our own ramps. The students learned how to make the balls or marbles change direction, go uphill, jump the ramp, do a loop-to-loop and transfer energy to another marble. They had lots of fun while developing some very important science, language and teamwork skills. Recently our class has had access to some very cool Blue Bots floor robots! The bots are a exciting, child-friendly way for our students to experience programming via the onboard keys. We will be exploring the many ways that we can use these bots to learn coding along with math and literacy skills! Check out these pictures... |
